About Debra

Debra has 18 years of experience in the field of medical billing and has an Associate’s Degree in Clinical Sciences. Her experience includes working for a hospital laboratory and for a large medical practice (WellMed Medical Management, Inc.). She has worked in billing and collections and participated in many courses to include medical billing and collections, chart auditing, and medical office compliance. She has supervised billing teams for El Paso and Corpus Christi clinics. She has an in depth knowledge of billing and regulatory guidelines to include Local Medical Review Policies, Local Coverage Determinations, and National Correct Coding Initiatives. Debra has had the opportunity to conduct training sessions with billing teams and enjoys the challenges that comes with the medical industry.
