Susan has more than 20 years of experience in the medical field. She has extensive knowledge in coding and billing. In her current role, she performs chart audits as part of the Revenue Cycle Management team. She works with all specialties as an auditor and consults with the physicians on correct coding and billing.
Susan began her medical coding career with a billing company that served more than 50 radiologists. For the past 15 years, she has worked for one of the largest physician groups in Texas. This is a multi-specialty group that serves all specialties and works with a large internal medicine group.
She loves the medical field and enjoys opportunities to continue learning and share her knowledge with others. She presently holds three certifications and is working towards her Bachelor's in Health Information Management.
