Sherita has more than 20 years of well-rounded healthcare experience. She wears many hats of knowledge in clinical experience and medical practice coding. She is the Director of Patient Experience and Diversity at Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC, where she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient satisfaction. This includes serving as the liaison between the hospital and the external vendor, report creation/distribution, communication of scores, and serving as a change agent within the hospital organizational targets, coaching and mentoring, training and monitoring best practices within the industry.
She has experience in adult education, customer service and diversity training, and staff development. She holds an AAS degree in Medical Assisting, BA degree, and Master in Public Health. She is also a Certified Medical Assistant. She enjoys teaching is able to convey complex subject matter into easy understand terms.
