D.K. Everitt is a certified medical compliance officer with over thirty years experience in practice management, the development and management of medium to large medical facilities, and the development, implementation, and maintenance of corporate compliance programs. He serves as Chief Healthcare Compliance Officer and President of The Compliance Division, L.L.C. His areas of expertise include establishing and managing federally certified health clinics, evaluating and assessing medical facilities, implementing Corporate Integrity Agreements, developing and implementing compliance programs and OSHA and HIPAA compliance training. He directs compliance assessments, compliance officer training, compliance education and training, and interacts with federal and state regulatory agencies.
Mr. Everitt is co-author of the Internal Operations Audit Manual (IOA), a compliance self-audit manual, along with other compliance manuals. He has served as a preceptor for Trinity University and is an annual guest lecturer on compliance for their graduate Health Care Administration Department.
