Joanna is a Healthcare Administrator with more than nine years of experience in operations management, coding, billing, revenue cycle, compliance, and auditing. She is currently a Billing Manager for Neighborhood Health Center, the oldest and largest federally qualified health care centers in Western New York, and a recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration's Health Center Quality Improvement Leader Award.
Prior to this role, Joanna was a Compliance Auditor for Bestself Behavioral Health where she examined internal processes including timely implementation of risk-based internal audits as directed by the controller. She also ran a successful vascular and general surgical group at South Towns Surgical for more than seven years.
Armed with a solid career foundation, Joanna is a strong believer that goals are never easy, but when you have the drive, support, desire, and determination inside you can make anything happen. She is excited to have an opportunity to teach and share her knowledge with others.
